1. Storage of data.

The data is saved per user.

The following data is recorded in the ODS statistics in the login:
- Server-IP
- Date and Time
- Modulname (Software)
- current and found Version
- Installation path or sha1 String from path

Server location is Germany.

After deleting the account, all data from it will be deleted! A restore is then only possible via the server backups (max. 3 days), which is a lot of effort and costs money.

2. Profile/Account

There is a charge for using the updates. The use of the program itself is not.
Registration with SoftwareCheck from ODS (OutDated.Software) itself is free.
The account must be confirmed by the mailbox owner via double opt-in.
The user can then unsubscribe from the newsletter via the profile, change his access data (which is saved via sha512 via salted hash), change contact details (= bill recipient), payment reminder settings, etc.

If the user no longer wants to use the service, they can delete their account and all data (server, profile data...) themselves.
The data will be deleted within a few minutes. Then only the server backup of the database is there for 3 days.

3. Service

The service only applies to accounts with active payment.
The service is provided based on the general terms and conditions and the current service description.

4. Privacy

All user data can and may be deleted, changed or temporarily saved by the author if there is a reason (as soon as the user deletes his account, all data is automatically deleted).
If the author changes or deletes data, he will attempt to contact the person concerned from the data record available to him and point out the change.
If the author was unable to reach or contact the person affected, the author cannot be held liable for the resulting consequences.
If there are objections or concerns, the user can contact the author at any time using the above contact details and resolve or clarify any misunderstandings.
It is generally possible to use our website without providing any personal data. As far as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. No data will be passed on.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating via email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible. (A certificate is offered for the login (issued to another domain), which means that the data exchange is encrypted via SSL).
The use of contact details published as part of the imprint obligation by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, such as spam emails.

So-called session cookies are set on some pages so that, for example, the data entered can be written back into the form. These cookies are deleted after sending or when you click on another page within the website or when you close the browser. A random session ID is temporarily stored in the cookies.
When you log in, a cookie is set for authentication, which is deleted via "Logout".

The cookies can also be deleted early and at any time in the browser itself or the setting of them can be blocked!
In addition, the standard logs of the Apache web server (ip, url, browser, date...) are stored anonymously for around 7 days to generate statistics and then automatically deleted.
In the event of attacks (DDOS, SQL injection, RFI, LFI...), the log files with the attackers' IP addresses are forwarded to the police to file a report.

When using the contact form, the IP address is included in the email so that we can report threats or similar insults.

All data specified in the profile can be deleted by the user after logging in. These are automatically deleted shortly afterwards and after 3 days, when the server backups have been overwritten, they no longer exist and can no longer be restored.

Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimize our website and advertising measures.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the data on website usage on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is transmitted to Google:
- Pages accessed
- Orders including sales and products ordered
- The achievement of "website goals" (e.g. contact requests and newsletter registrations)
- Your behavior on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scroll depth)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your Internet address (IP address)
- Technical information such as browser, Internet provider, device and screen resolution
- Source of your visit (i.e. which website or advertising medium you came to us via)
- A randomly generated user ID
- No personal data such as name, address or contact details are transferred to Google Analytics.

This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA under data protection law as within the EU.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that can be used to recognize you on future website visits.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

If you do not agree to the recording, you can prevent it by installing the Browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics or by rejecting cookies via the cookie settings in your browser. Source: traffic3.net
